Why is there no sound coming from my hearing aid?
This is usually caused by a dead battery, blocked wax guard, or the device not being turned on. Try replacing the battery (or charging the device), cleaning the wax guard and dome, and making sure the aid is switched on properly.
Why is the sound too quiet or muffled?
Check for wax buildup in the dome or receiver, and try replacing the wax guard. Make sure the hearing aid is inserted fully and the volume is turned up using the app or device controls.
Why is my hearing aid whistling or making a high-pitched noise?
This is known as feedback and is often caused by a poor fit or wax in the ear canal. Make sure your hearing aid is seated correctly and check if your ears need wax removal.
Why does my hearing aid keep cutting out or switching off?
If your device randomly powers off, it could be due to a low battery, dirty contacts in the charger, or moisture. Make sure it’s charged properly and clean the charging contacts with a soft cloth.
How often should I change the wax guard and dome?
We recommend changing the wax guard every 2–4 weeks or sooner if you notice sound issues. Domes should be replaced every 1–2 months or when they look worn or discoloured.
My hearing aids won’t connect to the app—what should I do?
First, restart your phone’s Bluetooth and reopen the app. If that doesn’t work, remove (“forget”) the hearing aids from your phone’s Bluetooth settings and reconnect via the app.
Why is the volume different in each ear?
Check if both hearing aids have the same volume level in the app. One aid may also have a blocked dome or wax guard, so clean or replace them if needed.
What do the lights on my hearing aid charger mean?
A solid green light usually means the hearing aid is fully charged. A blinking light indicates charging is in progress. If no lights show, check your power connection and cables.
