ABOUT Microsuction Earwax removal

Why Chose Microsuction?

Microsuction is a safe, effective, and gentle method of removing excess ear wax. It involves using a small, low-pressure suction device to carefully extract wax from the ear canal while being guided by a high-powered microscope or loupe.

Do you need Earwax removal?

Earwax is a natural substance that helps protect your ears, but when it builds up too much, it can cause discomfort and affect your hearing. If you experience any of the following symptoms, you may need earwax removal:

Should I Use Oil Drops?

Using ear drops before your earwax removal appointment can help soften the wax, making the procedure quicker and more comfortable. While it’s not always necessary, it is often recommended, especially if you have a history of hard or impacted wax.

For best results, use a few drops of olive oil or earwax softening drops 2-3 days before your appointment. However, if you have a history of ear infections or a perforated eardrum, consult a professional before using drops.

Struggling with hearing loss?

Hearing loss can develop gradually and impact your daily life, particularly after the age of 50.  Regular tests are also recommended as you age or if you’ve been exposed to loud environments or noises. We also provide ongoing assistance and advice to help you manage your hearing needs.

Thinking about hearing aids?
