How to Fix Hearing Aid Bluetooth and Connection Issues
Modern hearing aids offer seamless Bluetooth connection to smartphones, tablets, TVs, and remote accessories. If pairing fails or audio drops, follow this guide to get your device reconnected.
1. Device Not Pairing
Turn Bluetooth off and on again on your phone.
Restart both your hearing aids and mobile device.
Make sure the hearing aids are in pairing mode (usually by restarting them).
Forget and re-pair the device in Bluetooth settings.
2. Intermittent or Dropped Connections
Keep devices within 1–2 metres.
Avoid interference from Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, or metal walls.
Ensure your app and firmware are updated.
3. Audio Not Streaming Correctly
Confirm the correct device is selected as the audio output.
Check the streaming volume within your hearing aid app.
Reboot all devices and retry.
For persistent connection issues, consult with your audiologist for firmware updates or device pairing support.
